Paul is talking about the trust that develops between clients and agents at The Winter Harbor Agency. As a small insurance agency, The Winter Harbor Agency is able to provide a level of personal service not available from larger agencies. They know the community and its people, and the community knows them. This is where the trust begins. The Winter Harbor Agency has been part of the Schoodic community since Paul’s great-grandfather, Bedford E. Tracy, started the business in 1898. Paul took over the family business after his father retired in 1990. The agency sells all lines of personal and commercial insurance except for health insurance. They represent Hanover, Peerless, Acadia, Patrons Oxford, One Beacon, and other insurance companies that have made a commitment to Maine and smaller agencies. Paul says clients get peace of mind from knowing that their company will be there when they need help, now and in the future. E-mail Winter Harbor Agency at
